New Nemo Show at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

As Orlando locals, we always love anything new at the Walt Disney World Resort! Disney has been kicking off new rides and shows for the Year of a Million Dreams and the latest attraction is in sneak peek mode. The newest show at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is called "Finding Nemo - The Musical." It is a wonderful Broadway style show created from the popular Disney - Pixar movie "Finding Nemo." Disney has been doing sneak previews of this new show in November and will continue in December until the premiere in January 2007. Two of our Disney Specialists were lucky enough to attend one of the sneak peek performances with the Chief Creative Officer of Pixar, John Lasseter. It is an amazing show! The characters and backdrops are bright and colorful with puppets, dancers, aerialists, and animation. "Finding Nemo - The Musical" will be a popular show for kids of all ages.

If you are visiting this December, be sure to check out the tip board or the show times in front of the "Finding Nemo" pavillion for a sneak preview. The "Finding Nemo" show is in the old spot of Tarzan Rocks. This building is right next to Expedition Everest. Year of a Million Dreams

The celebration this year called Year of a Million Dreams is very special to us at Destinations in Florida. Many of our agents are actually Disney Cast Members so this year's promotion is extra special to us. The Disney Cast Members will be the center of this new promotion at the Disney Parks including the Walt Disney World Resort. Some Disney Cast Members called the Dream Team will be giving away a MILLION extra special dreams until next year (December 31, 2007). These dreams may be an ice cream, special Mickey Mouse ears celebrating the Year of a Million Dreams, a night in the Penthouse at Cinderella's Castle, or (my favorite) a Dream FastPass! Can you imagine - never waiting in a lines at Disney World? It is the biggest giveaway in Disney history. This promotion just started on October 1. In just a month, we have had hundreds of guests email us after their Disney World vacation telling us the exciting prizes they won during their Disney World vacation. It made their Disney vacation even more magical!

Besides the amazing Year of a Million Dreams giveaway, there are new shows, rides, and attractions at Disney World. One of the new experiences is called the Immersive Experiences. You can actually learn how to be a Disney Princess with the Let's Have a Ball Experience or learn how to be a pirate with Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial. One of the favorite experiences is the High School Musical Pep Ralley where you can show your spirit. These experiences are at Magic Kingdom Park.

There are lots of new rides opening this year for the Year of a Million Dreams with a few rides already open. The Seas with Nemo and Friends in The Living Seas at Epcot opened in October and is already a very popular ride. Your family will cruise out ot sea in the "clamobile" with Nemo and Friends. You will learn about the oceans in a fun ride ending at Turtle Talk with Crush. The other popular Finding Nemo attraction called Finding Nemo - The Musical is already showing (sneak peak) in the old Tarzan Rocks! location at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. One more show will be opening at Disney World in January 2007 called Monster's, Inc. The Laugh Floor Comedy Club.

One of the most magical experiences that Disney World is including in the Year of a Million Dreams is the Magical Moments by the Cast Members themselves. A Disney Cast Member may ask a child to be an honorary bellhop at the Tower of Terror or be asked to help hunt for treasures at Pirates of the Caribbean. The Cast Members will be able to include guests in the many experiences at the Disney Theme Parks.
