The Haunted Mansion - Scarier than Ever

Growing up in Orlando, my family and I were always running through Magic Kingdom to get to the Haunted Mansion. This was a favorite with my family and it tends to be a favorite with most guests visiting Disney World. It was not a scary ride, but an entertaining attraction. One of our favorites was always the hitch hiking ghosts!

The Haunted Mansion has recently been renovated, but has added quite a few new surprises to this classic attraction. You will see additions like staircases with ghost footprints, a new bride (and storyline with her life), an updated graveyard, and you will have lots of new "eyes" watching you. One of my favorite new additions is the sound affects. They are incredible. In the Stretch Room, you feel like the ghost is all around you. Once the doors open in the Stretch Room, wait for a few minutes while everyone else leaves to board the ride. You will hear children's voices talking quietly all around the room. This one will make your hairs stand on end!

The Haunted Mansion is always a favorite, but has changed from the fun loving ride to a little more like a haunted house. Happy Haunting!
